Summary
EditScreenshot.online is designed so your screenshots stay on your device. Core editing uses the browser Canvas API and Fabric.js locally. We do not operate a service that ingests your images for processing.
Information we collect
We may collect limited analytics data through Google Analytics 4 (page views, device type, general geography). We do not use analytics to reconstruct your screenshot content.
Screenshots and files
We do not upload, store, or analyze your screenshots on our servers as part of the editing workflow. Files you export are saved only where you choose (for example, your Downloads folder).
Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or local storage for theme preferences (light/dark), editor tour completion, and analytics identifiers required by Google Analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Third-party services
We may load scripts from Google Analytics and Google Fonts. Those providers have their own privacy policies governing how they process device and usage data.
Children’s privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us so we can delete it.
Your rights (including GDPR)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold (primarily analytics). Contact us at hello@editscreenshot.online to exercise these rights.
Data retention
Analytics logs are retained according to Google’s policies. Locally edited screenshots are not retained by us because we do not receive them.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
